I am always on the lookout for Tic Tac Toe shapes made by intersecting contrails, so when I stepped out my door Monday morning and saw contrails converging I took some photos. But the sun was too bright! I took my walk around my neighborhood and finally decided to try putting my sunglasses over the phone/camera lens, but then I really couldn't see so I just took the shot blindly. Was very pleased with my take♫ Took a couple more shots hunkered beneath some shrubs to block the sun....

Sun, too bright
Through my sunglasses lens
A bit fuzzy, but recognizable as a tic tac toe♫
Liked how this framed up.

I would never have thought of putting my sunglasses on the camera!!! I love the effect, though, especially with that one contrail that widens out!!!

Excellent composition, I like these delicious textures of the sky with contrails of airplanes.
Great shots! I really love the second one. And I love the idea of putting sunglasses on the camera - must try that!
Great photos! What are the streaks? Are they all the same photo with different treatments? And sunglasses, how imaginative. Must try.
The streaks are contrails, or jet streams that start out crisp behind the planes, then expand to look more like clouds♫
Interesting shots! Love looking at those jet trails.
Very interesting effects! Love that you see 'Tic Tac Tow' in your skies. So pretty.
cool, you made your own sunset. :) Love it.
I love the idea of looking for tic tac toe designs! I never thought of that, very clever using your sunglasses , I'm going to have to keep that in mind! Also, check out this blog www.arthousetdr.com they put music to your artwork, photography & poems and are open for submissions :) Michelle from www.mommyspinkielipgloss.blogspot.com

How creative to use your sunglasses as a filter!
Your a genius...all of us have never thought of putting our sunglasses up to the camera. Great advice.
Well, I'd never have thought to do that. I like that second shot- neat!

hard to believe you shot these beauties with a phone camera with sunglasses!
I agree with you - the last one is the best. But I like the sunglasses shot and the radiance of the sun.
Great photos! Like it!
What amazing shots. I like the effect of shooting through your sunglasses.
Great idea, through the sunglasses lens!
Those vapor trails do look like a tic-tac-toe... nicely spotted... Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #71!

Totally creative on so many levels!! I love that you used your 'shades' as a filter!! Funny how I've noticed patterns from contrails in the past...I'll see them in a new way now!
Blessings!
Great idea to put the sunglasses over the lense. Love that shot :)
Wow! There's not enough of any kind of traffic here in New Zealand to make a tic tac toe! Great catch!
That's very cool - and what a good idea to try the sunglasses! I never noticed tic tac toe skyscapes before - it's fascinating!
I really like the second one, lovely colours and silhouette.
How clever to put your sunglasses on your camera lens, that made for a glowing effect. Lovely images. Thank you for visiting my blog :)
very cool captures - our skies are too full smog and grey to capture such a lovely blue sky
I didn't know the word contrail but I've noticed and wondered at the phenom!
I'll be accused of having my head in the clouds more so than usual from now on.
Thanks for sharing these amazing shots, and thanks for stopping by my blog too.
So, who's playing Tic Tac Toe with whom?

I love the sunglasses shot...how creative!
Never thought you could use the sunglasses as camera filters. But of course, the results are good. Interesting photos these sure are.
Well who knew sunglasses over the lens gave such a great effect!
