Abstract

Rockie Rollers Ride again
When the weather turns nice, a couple of my neighbors and I go bike riding on the local trails. We call ourselves the Rockie Rollers. We explored the Fox River Trail Friday. Perfect weather, sights, breeze...this is one of the shots I took to commemorate our ride.

5 K
My family participated in the Indy Mini Marathon May 4th and had a great time. The day was overcast and perfect for the event. I did the 5 K, but my son Jason, and daughter-in-law Joni, my other daughter Angela, and my brother's wife, Becky completed the Mini (13.1 miles)!

So , my family participated in the Indy 500 Mini Marathon/5 K....I did the 5K . It was cool and overcast, but the sun came out here and there. My route took me past a parking garage and I decided to fiddle with the shot for this week's abstract...Have a great week♫♪

A Positive Negative
Still obsessing with my phone camera apps...found I could do an invert to the negative of a photo.
It is nearly impossible to capture a bird on a cell phone camera.
Nevertheless, I found one atop a tree when I went for a short walk.
Liked the way the original turned out as well as the negative....a positive experience♫♪

Tic Tac Toe Skyscapes
I am always on the lookout for Tic Tac Toe shapes made by intersecting contrails, so when I stepped out my door Monday morning and saw contrails converging I took some photos. But the sun was too bright! I took my walk around my neighborhood and finally decided to try putting my sunglasses over the phone/camera lens, but then I really couldn't see so I just took the shot blindly. Was very pleased with my take♫ Took a couple more shots hunkered beneath some shrubs to block the sun....
