Bear With Me....this is a Photo blog, promotional blog, mostly a blog for me to dither around in and express myself. My other blog promotes my poetry which is a way to also promote my instrumentals. Hope you find time to check out those sites as well♫♪
One of my favorite blog hops, Alphabe-Thursday, is beginning with letter A again....I have become adept at using my phone's camera apps for photos as I ride around my rural community delivering mail. So I will feature my photography for the next round♫♪
Slim and sunny, these yellow flowers are appearing along the roadside:
When the weather turns nice, a couple of my neighbors and I go bike riding on the local trails. We call ourselves the Rockie Rollers. We explored the Fox River Trail Friday. Perfect weather, sights, breeze...this is one of the shots I took to commemorate our ride.
My family participated in the Indy Mini Marathon May 4th and had a great time. The day was overcast and perfect for the event. I did the 5 K, but my son Jason, and daughter-in-law Joni, my other daughter Angela, and my brother's wife, Becky completed the Mini (13.1 miles)!
Here I am I carrying the water bottles while my daughter Ashley took the photo♫♪
Check out my previous post for an abstract of a parking garage!
So , my family participated in the Indy 500 Mini Marathon/5 K....I did the 5K . It was cool and overcast, but the sun came out here and there. My route took me past a parking garage and I decided to fiddle with the shot for this week's abstract...Have a great week♫♪
Hosted a Bunco party...a group of twelve of us gather for socializing and playing the dice game. My daughter helped me with the Rice Krispie Treats and they made for a favorite snack....then I had fun with my phone apps to come up with the abstracts♫♪
Looked for the opportunity to capture the nice weather and found myself sitting in my car next to this windmill. Just took a shot out my window and liked how the sunbeam spiked.
Plus it has an illusion of leaning towards you, then another look and it's leaning away♫♪
The snow laden clouds were crowding out the sun as I stopped atop a rise to fill a mailbox (I'm a rural carrier) when I took this shot yesterday. Of course I had to play around with my phone apps! (Samsung Galaxy III) and I liked the results♫
I am always on the lookout for Tic Tac Toe shapes made by intersecting contrails, so when I stepped out my door Monday morning and saw contrails converging I took some photos. But the sun was too bright! I took my walk around my neighborhood and finally decided to try putting my sunglasses over the phone/camera lens, but then I really couldn't see so I just took the shot blindly. Was very pleased with my take♫ Took a couple more shots hunkered beneath some shrubs to block the sun....
